# Tasks

> Your tasks, your projects and your lists, such as groceries.

Tasks holds everything you have to do, from a small reminder to a project with many steps.

## Creating a task

Type a task and press Enter. If you like, give it a date, a project or a business. A task with a date shows up on that day on [Home](https://docs.leapla.co/features/home.md), and you can drag it to the [Calendar](https://docs.leapla.co/features/calendar.md) to reserve time for it.

## Projects

Your projects are in the sidebar of Tasks.

* **New project** creates a project. It opens as its own page with its tasks.
* **No project** shows the loose tasks.
* You use the same projects in [Docs](https://docs.leapla.co/features/docs.md), so the tasks and documents of one project are together.

## Viewing and grouping

In the sidebar you also choose which **business** you see and how you **group**. The address in your browser remembers that choice, so a bookmark brings you back to the same view.

## Lists

Lists, such as a grocery list, belong to Tasks. Check off what you have.

## Free and Plus

Tasks and lists are free.
