# Apla

> Leapla's assistant, which works with your own data and never changes anything by itself.

Apla is Leapla's assistant. Apla knows your tasks, appointments and docs, and helps you with them: summarizing, planning, finding something back or suggesting a task.

## Opening Apla

Click **Apla** on the right of the top bar.

## What Apla can do

* Answer questions about what is in your Leapla: *"What do I still have to do this week?"*
* Make suggestions: a new task, an appointment, a piece of text in a doc.
* Summarize or rewrite long texts.

## You decide

Apla **never** changes anything by itself. Every change comes as a suggestion with an **Approve** button. Only when you click does it happen.

Apla uses AI and can make mistakes. Check what Apla says before you rely on it.

## What Apla sees

Apla only works with data you are allowed to see. Of your docs Apla knows the titles; the content only of the doc you have open.

## Usage

Every plan has an amount of AI per day, per week and per month. How much you used is shown in **Settings › My subscription**. When it runs out, you can buy extra AI credits or take a bigger plan.
